usda certified organic product

This is a deeply nourishing version of a classic childhood treat. Finding the absolute highest quality raw Cacao is paramount in our business. We have searched the world over to locate the finest, most antioxidant-rich, raw Cacao Powder to use as the foundation for this product. Historically, Cacao was valued equal to gold and revered by many ancient Meso-American civilizations as “The Food of the Gods.” It has long been known to elevate the mood, excite the body and energize the mind.

Chocolate has a reputation for “opening” the human heart, which explains why it has become a symbol of love in so many cultures. This is not just because of it’s incredibly unique, rich flavor. It's because it delivers an essence of magic to the human body and mind. Today, we know that this “magical” quality is primarily due to its extremely high mineral and phenylethylamine (PEA) content. PEA’s are a class of neurotransmitters, known as “love molecules” because they are most abundant in the brain when falling in love, and they play an important role in lifting the mood and increasing mental focus.

At Bright Earth Foods, we do everything we can to preserve the delicate, precious qualities of the raw Cacao bean (which are destroyed during heat processing), so you can receive the full benefit and essence of its gift. We wanted you to be able to experience the true ecstasy of raw Cacao in a simple, ready-to-mix powder – so you can create your own decadent chocolate celebration anytime! This delightful beverage is lightly sweetened with Coconut Palm Sugar and Stevia so that your body will have the support it needs to maintain stable, healthy blood sugar levels, providing you with a replenishing, creamy and deliciously decadent hot drink - the perfect replacement for coffee or tea. Our goal is to make superfoods simple, so you can relax and fully enjoy a healthy, vibrant life!

Absolutely love it- even non-vegan and anti-health friends approve!

This is the best raw hot chocolate I have ever had. It's extremely satisfying and beneficently addicting. I've gotten tons of friends hooked; even the ones who usually don't opt for anything tagged "superfood" or "vegan" (and some who need a little bit of a familiar milkier consistency and traditional texture will just add milk or cream. Since I've discovered it it has become one of my favorite healthy staples of indulgence.

Great idea. Flavor may take time.

I have tried the hot chocolate three times and am just now starting to get used to the flavor. I understand the sweeteners are not the usual and probably healthier. I have been using the Rainbow powder once or twice a day. So, I can't equate great results directly to the hot chocolate. I do believe it to be healthier version, so there is a chance I will re-order.
